Jeju-do is very fascinating all the time. Is there any good way to properly travel in Jeju in spite of just one time? You need to read it if you are planning for a Jeju tour! How about going to travel by a bike in order to enjoy the island in detail? There is ‘about 234km of Jeju Fantastic Bicycle Road’ that allows people to be able to ride a bike along a coast road. Let me introduce everything about ‘the Jeju Fantastic Bicycle Road’ that shows the nature of Jeju as it is.
What is ‘Jeju Fantastic Bicycle Road?’
‘Jeju Fantastic Bicycle Road’ is 10 bicycle riding courses that lead people to take a turn in Jeju-do along about 234km of a coast road. This road was formed by making the best use of a coast road and coastal landscape that is less traffic. An confirmation center located in each of the 10 courses offers ways that come and go by a bike and stamps to put them on an confirmation diary. It is very interesting.
‘Jeju Fantastic Bicycle Road’ Course
10 courses of the Jeju Fantastic Bicycle Road are as follows.
< Yongduam - Darak Rest Area - Haegeoreum Village Park - Songak Mountain - Beophwan Badang - Soesokkak Estuary - Pyoseon Beach - Seongsan Ilchulbong Tuff Cone - Gimnyeong Seongsegi Beach - Hamdeok Seowoobong Beach - Yongduam >
Actually, this course aims to start in Yongduam and come back here in order to take a turn in the whole area in Jeju. It takes 16 hours and 10 minutes to ride a bike based on experts, and hence, it is quite too much for the general public to ride it. Therefore, it is highly recommended to ride it based on attraction spots in Jeju around which you would like to mainly look. It is good to ride it in an anti-clockwise direction of a map. This is because you will less cross at the crossings of a coast road and coastal landscape. Then, let me take a look at attractions worth a visit by each course.
Course 1. Yongduam - Darak Rest Area (21km, it takes about 1 hr and 20 min.)
Recommended Tourist Spot: Iho Tewoo Beach, Gueom-ri Rock Salt Pond
